Waste
Your residual waste is collected by Reinigingsbedrijf Midden-Nederland (RMN). You can take special waste to the recycling station. In the waste calendar you will find all kinds of practical information. For example, where to find a container, where to bring different types of waste and when it will be collected. You can also make an appointment for the collection of bulky waste.
Containers
If you have a house with a garden, you can dispose of organic waste, paper, and residual waste in the appropriate bin. If you live in an apartment, you should dispose of your residual waste and organic waste in an underground container. Sometimes the lower apartment of an apartment building also has a bin for organic waste and paper. Glass and paper should be disposed of in the designated underground containers.
Costs
In Nieuwegein, you pay a fixed annual amount for your waste. That means you don't pay per time (per garbage bag) you throw away your residual waste.
Parking
